EMS Guest Speaker – Historian Robert Fish – 600 Years of Axholme

Local historian Robert Fish will be speaking on ‘600 Years of Axholme from 1066 to 1666’. The talk will cover the history of the Isle from the Norman Conquest through Magna Carta and Baron William de Mowbray’s role, through the Medieval period to the time of the Great Fire of London.
The Epworth Men’s Society is held at several venues. When meetings are held at either the Imperial Hall, Chapel Street, or the Thurlow Pavilion, Epworth, members can bring their own refreshments and snacks.
